FreeMind is a free and open source mind mapping appliion written in Java, runs on various OSes. FreeMind provides extensive export capabilities. It runs on , Linux and Mac OS X via the Java Runtime Environment.
FreeMind allows the user to edit a hierarchical set of ids around a central concept. The non-linr approach assists in brainstorming new outlines and projects as ids are added around the mind map.
