Iometer is a free, open source I/O subsystem msurement and characterization tool for single and clustered systems. It is used as a benchmark and troubleshooting tool and is sily configured to replie the behaviour of many popular appliions.
It was originally developed by the Corporation and announced at the Developers Forum (IDF) on February 17, 1998.Mnwhile has discontinued to work on Iometer and it was given to the Open Source Development Lab (OSDL).
