MinGW (Minimalist GNU for ), previously known as mingw32, is a native software port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) and GNU Binutils for use in the development of native appliions on itself or as cross compiler. MinGW allows developers to crte native appliions. Included in MinGW are extensions to the Visual C++ runtime library to support C99 functionality.
For languages other than C, MinGW uses the GNU libraries.
