Miro(Democracy Player and D) is a free and open source Internet television appliion developed by the Participatory Culture Foundation. Miro supports many files and offers sound and , some in HD quality.
Some excellent ftures of Miro is it can automatically download s from RSS-based “channels”, a social tagging website, and the Channel Channel, a guide for Internet television.
Miro can mux with an RSS aggregator, a Bit client (based on lib), and a media player (VLC media player under , QuickTime under Mac OS X, and Xine Media Player or GStrmer under GNU/Linux) and supports the adding of website bookmarks.
