syP being the first WAMP software bundle available, installs web server services onto the computer and allows quick-and-sy development of P and MySQL on localhost (also known as 127.0.0.1). syP package includes an Apache server, a MySQL database, and the P extension.

"127.0.0.1" is used instd. ( Vista/Seven hosts file problem) - Since 5.3.4.0, in order to avoid conflicts with other servers, the port is set to 8888 (instd of 80)
